How do I setup and activate my iPhone?

To get set up:

1. Download the latest version of iTunes® to your computer
2. Set up an iTunes account when you're prompted
3. Connect iPhone to your computer using the USB cable.
4. Wait for your phone to synch your information with iTunes
5. Download the Telstra 24x7 app to manage your bills and usage

How to activate:

If you have ordered a new service with a new mobile number, the great news is that your service is already activated. Don not forget to use iTunes to complete your activation.


Can I set up automatic recharge for Telstra Pre-Paid service?

Yes – you have two automatic recharge options:
1. Scheduled Monthly Recharge
2. Balanced Based Recharge

First, set up a recharge PIN:
Next time recharge using your credit or debit card, you will see an option to 'save' your card details and create a 4-digit 'recharge PIN'.
With a recharge PIN, you will be able to setup an Automatic Scheduled Monthly Recharge or an Automatic Balanced Based Recharge.
For Scheduled Monthly Recharge:

When you have saved payment details and a recharge PIN, you can set up a Scheduled Monthly Recharge via Telstra 24x7 My Account:

1. Sign into Telstra 24x7 MyAccount using your Telstra ID
2. If you have more than one account, you’ll need to select the relevant account from the blue bar at the top of the screen
3. Select Recharge Settings from the box next to your pre-paid service
4. Select Scheduled monthly recharge
5. Select a recharge day, amount and saved payment method
6. Follow the prompts to complete your scheduled monthly recharge.
Your recharge amount will be automatically added on your selected date each month.

Good to know:
• The recharge you will usually go through early in the morning on the date you select
• Your previous balance will not be retained on Automatic Payment
• If your date is 29th, 30th or 31st of the month, for any shorter months your Payment will be processed on the last day of that month
• If you select today's date for your first scheduled recharge, your first scheduled Payment will be processed the next morning
• If you would like to change your scheduled date, you’ll need to update this and the recharge amount by 11pm on the day prior to your existing scheduled recharge date
• Make sure you keep your saved payment details updated, or the scheduled recharges will fail. Your credit or debit card details should be updated one day prior to your next scheduled Payment
• Make sure you have sufficient funds in your account or your recharge will be rejected.


For Balanced Based Recharge:


With saved payment details and a recharge PIN you can setup a Balance Based Recharge via Telstra 24x7 My Account:

1. Sign into Telstra 24x7 MyAccount using your Telstra ID
2. More than one account, you will need to select the relevant account from the blue bar at the top of the screen
3. Select Recharge Settings from the box next to your pre-paid service
4. Select Balance automatic recharge
5. Select the credit balance amount you want to initiate your automatic recharge
6. Select your recharge amount
7. Follow the prompts to complete your balanced based recharge
Your recharge cost will be automatically added when your main balance drops to, or goes below your chosen level.

Good to know:

• If your credit expires this will initiate ur recharge. Your new balance will equal your new recharge cost.
• If you are overseas and you have a balance based recharge, you’ll get alerts when you have used 50%, 85% and 100% of PAYG data.
